Alignment
“When your vertical alignment is right, your horizontal alignments are much easier.”
– William Stubbs
When you first develop a Relationship Triangle with God, you will find that relating to others becomes less confusing, because God provides the foundation by which we can evaluate people. The diagram to the left demonstrates this concept specifically in the component of respect.
The center of The Relationship Triangle holds a cross. The cross serves two purposes:
1. It serves as the ultimate example of Love and Forgiveness being simultaneously displayed.
2. It reminds us that relationships need to be centered and grounded by our relationship with God.
The Relationship triangle is not about “having religion”, but it begins with developing an active and productive relationship with God. As you develop your components, bond and environment with God, you build a foundation on which you can confidently make the most challenging decisions that accompany relationships with people.
